Quick version of me

I’m about to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of my 39th Birthday in June 2026. I’m in good health, grateful for the ride so far, and if you ask how I feel, my answer is simple:

CONTENT.

I’ve been a full-time online entrepreneur since 1995, and I was “The Resource Guy” long before TheResourceGuy.com showed up in 2000.

Before the internet got loud, I was:

  • In broadcasting for 12 years in the 60s and 70s 
  • In telemarketing for 35 years, teaching thousands how to sell on the phone 
  • A flight instructor for a few years (which is mostly teaching people how not to audition for gravity) 

I’m based in Allen, Texas, and I’ve been into computers since I built my first one in 1976. Things really took off when I bought my first domain in 1995 and went all-in as an online entrepreneur.

Why this blog exists

Because a lot of people want one of these:

  • Extra income 
  • A way out of the “real job” situation 
  • Something to build in retirement that feels fun (and pays for the good snacks) 

Here you’ll find practical help with topics like traffic generation, list building, product creation, and yes, even AI. You can learn, steal my best ideas, and follow along while I keep experimenting.

When I’m not training, coaching, and mentoring aspiring online entrepreneurs, I’m running a small zoo:

  • A cockatoo (Jazz, who believes he’s the manager) 
  • Five cats (who agree) 
  • Four dogs (who just want the tennis ball to keep its promises) 

Life’s good. Loud. Furry. Complete.
